“HR Things” is a locally produced dramedy, shot and set in Columbus, and created by GG Rodgers. The first season consists of 12 episodes, each one being about six minutes long.
The ICF Freestyle Championships are approaching in 2028 and 2029, and Woitena stated that launching a film festival was a good way to build excitement. "You can be on the [Chattahoochee] River and then pop right off and be at a film festival, or walking in Uptown and having dinner, and just walking around and enjoying Columbus," she added.
Kiser worked with Uptown Columbus over the past year to produce the festival. She said that they’ve received so much support and excitement from the community. She added that they had over 50 musicians sign up to participate, and about 35 of those musical acts will actually be on the official festival line-up.

The Columbus Creators Mixer on Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. at The Loft in Columbus will provide information on "How to Become a Storyteller" and "The Economics of Storytelling," which will include creators across all disciplines, providing education on storytelling fundamentals and helping participants understand what resources are locally available to them.
