To help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of RIVERDANCE, a Pre-Show VIP experience is offered in a designated section of the front and center Orchestra.

Join GPB, Columbus State University's Carson McCullers Center, and the Columbus Public Library for the screening of Wunderkind Carson McCullers. Following the film, we will engage in a discussion with Carson McCullers Center director, Dr. Nick Norwood and GPB's own Orlando Montoya. 

The Symphony Orchestra will be playing in Columbus at the Bill Heard Theatre.

International Ballet Swan Lake stars this February in Columbus, Georgia.

The orchestra will be joined by the tenacious young Canadian violinist Blake Pouliot, who has established himself as ”one of those special talents that comes along once in a lifetime,” (Toronto Star) and pianist Andrew von Oeyen, who is is highly regarded for his critically acclaimed solo and concerto albums include repertoire ranging from Bach and Beethoven to Debussy, Gershwin, Ravel and Saint-Saëns.
