“Hidden Figures” production personnel discuss the surprisingly authentic 1960s locations used throughout Georgia. Several sites, including a period-correct hangar and a remarkable college, served as key filming locations. The video highlights the seamless integration of various Georgia locations to create a believable NASA setting. The NASA scenes, for example, were actually shot at five different locations, one of which was Columbus, Ga. The Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Columbus was used to replicate the 1960s NASA Langley Research Center environments.
