Georgia is rapidly positioning itself as the epicenter of America’s new digital media economy, and Todd Harris, CEO of Resurgens Gaming, outlined an ambitious vision during remarks at Assembly Studios in Atlanta.

Harris, who also leads Ghost Gaming and Skillshot Media, highlighted Georgia’s unique advantages in building what he calls the “new digital media economy” – a convergence of film production, live production, video games, and workforce development.

“What Georgia does better than any place else is workforce development and talent development,” Harris told attendees, pointing to the new facility as another milestone in the state’s creative sector expansion.

The gaming executive’s comments come as Georgia continues building on its reputation as an entertainment powerhouse, with industry leaders now working to extend that success from film and television into gaming and digital media.

With leaders like Harris championing Georgia’s potential and new facilities coming online, the state appears well-positioned to capture a significant share of the rapidly growing digital media market.
