The Liberty Theatre in Columbus is celebrating 100 years with a special event next month.
The Centennial Gala: “The Soul of the Community” is a black-tie event celebrating the history and legacy of the Liberty Theatre, 813 Eighth Ave. The event is on April 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Columbus Convention & Trade Center.
The Liberty Theatre has been closed for repairs during the past year as the city replaces the roof and HVAC system.
“This is more than a gala — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime tribute to a century of culture, resilience, and storytelling,” Oz Roberts, co-chairman of the Liberty Theatre Board of Directors said in the news release.
